This unit serves a dual purpose by effectively sealing the bottom of the verge. This prevents birds and large insects from entering the roof space or nesting in the eaves, which is a common issue with traditional mortar-filled verges.
Unlike the verge units themselves, the eaves closure is ambidextrous, meaning the same unit can be used for both the left and right-hand sides of the gable.
