150mm (9″) ClassicBond PS RUSS Strip

ClassicBond PS RUSS (Pressure-Sensitive Reinforced Universal Securement Strip) is a vital component for ensuring the long-term stability of your EPDM roof. Like many single-ply materials, non-reinforced EPDM can be susceptible to movement or shrinkage over time; the RUSS strip acts as a mechanical base tie-in to control this movement and stop the membrane pulling away from upstand details. It consists of a 1.14mm thick reinforced EPDM membrane with a high-strength cured splice tape adhesive pre-applied along its edge.

This strip is specifically designed for use at perimeter walls, curbs, and expansion joints to provide additional mechanical securement without the need for complex field seaming. We stock this on the roll and cut to size per half metre, with a maximum seamless length of 30.5m available, so you only pay for what you need to protect your roof’s perimeters.
Ordering Tip: When calculating your perimeter securement, remember that RUSS must be used in conjunction with Seam Fastening Plates and appropriate fasteners. We recommend allowing a small amount of extra length for detailing around corners.
