Tenmat FF102/50 Ventilated Cavity Fire Barrier – 1000mm

The Tenmat FF102/50 is a rigid, high-expansion intumescent strip encased in a protective aluminium foil. It is designed specifically for use horizontally within ventilated cavities behind external weatherboard systems like Hardie® Plank and Hardie™ VL Plank.
Unlike traditional solid barriers, the FF102/50 is an “open-state” barrier. This means it allows for the continuous airflow and drainage necessary to keep your timber sub-frame dry. In the event of a fire, the intumescent material rapidly expands to bridge the cavity, preventing the spread of flames and heat up the building facade.

Applications & Usage

Horizontal Cavities: For use horizontally only to maintain ventilation and drainage.

Cavity Size: Suitable for cavities up to 50mm, which includes standard 25mm, 38mm, and 50mm timber batten systems.

System Match: Tested specifically for use behind fibre cement weatherboard systems.
